Bad Memory Blow-Up – A cautionary Tale

Behold a cautionary tale…

When I first started selling my wares online, one of my first products was to help people improve their memory.

I positioned it specifically to help improve short-term and long-term memory.

It did extremely well BUT after the first launch, I took it off the market and vowed to never sell it again or to “position” any product the same way.

Why?

Support issues.

During and after the launch I was totally and completely overwhelmed with support tickets.

People were calling and opening support tickets because they couldn’t remember their passwords, or usernames or even where to log in.

For the first few days, I was really frustrated because I was spending entire days doing nothing else but helping login to their accounts.

Then, it hit me like a tone of bricks!…

…And I started to laugh at the irony of it all.

Of course, people didn’t remember because they all had terrible memories.

That’s why the purchased the product in the first place. (Duh!)

This falls under the category of….

“Be careful of what you wish for because you just might get it”.

I wanted to help people have better memories because I struggled with my memory as a child.

It was and is a great intention BUT…

…I didn’t future pace it enough (think it through) to anticipate the problems that might arise.

I had spent so much time and money on my first product, and I couldn’t sell it because I couldn’t support it. I just didn’t have the resources to do it.

I got what I wanted but it almost “tanked” my business before it even got off the ground.

It totally crushed my momentum and I had to start from scratch on a new product.

Today, I do things differently.

I have a system that I use to make sure that my “runway” is clear of debris and obstacles are removed ahead of time.

That way, when I start my engines and go for it (whatever “it” may be) …I know I can leverage the power of momentum without having to worry that I’m going to hit a brick wall.

I use this system in my personal life, business life and in my leisure life because it makes EVERYTHING I do easier and it virtually guarantees success.

Momentum is one of the most powerful forces in the universe and when you know how to leverage it, you go from “pushing the river” to “riding the wave”.

On April 4th, I’m going to share this system on a live call that I am doing for the You Wealth Revolution World Summit.

The summit is free, but you have to sign-up to get my interview and my gift.

Here’s the happy link:

You also get a nifty little gift from the summit just for signing up as well.
